Obituary of Eliu Renee Menendez Permuy

On Tuesday, March 10th, 2020, Eliu Rene Menendez Permuy of Melbourne, Florida passed away at the age of 23. Eliu was born in Cuba on February 14th, 1997. In 2009 Eliu and his surviving mother Yohanna Menendez immigrated to the United States. After years of education and hard work, and the help of his family, Eliu earned his United States citizenship in 2019. The things that defined Eliu was his generosity and love of family, as well as his optimism and a humble peaceful way. He had big dreams and will be dearly missed by all that knew him, and especially by his family who include his grandmother Mariela Permuy of Melbourne, Florida, And his great-grandmother Emelia Brinas of Melbourne, Florida.
