Obituary of Arlene A. Conrad

Arlene Ann (Quigley) Conrad, 80, beloved wife of Fred E. Conrad of Pine Creek, Melbourne, Florida, went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born October 10, 1929, in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Dean) Quigley. She was the former widow of Earl L. Tyson of Williamsport, PA, the father of her five daughters. Arlene is survived by her husband, Fred Conrad, and her five daughters - all of Pennsylvania, Yvonne (James) Strycula, Mary Ann Anderson, Dawn (Gerald) Shier, Jacqueline (Kevin) Becker, and Michele Tyson and her significant other, Neal DeAngelo; she is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Todd Hagenbuch, Michael Strycula, Chelsea Becker, Dalton Becker, Steve Boyles, Megan Boyles, and Tara Moxham. Also surviving are stepchildren, Carol Johnson, Susan Matthews, Michelle Conrad, and Michael Conrad; and ten step-grandchildren; her sister, Dolores Tyson, her aunt Dorothy Bower, and many great-grandchildren. Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Arlene was retired and enjoyed visiting her children and grandchildren. She was previously employed by J. Byron's in Indian Harbour Beach for about 8 years where she managed the jewelry department. Arlene attended Calvary Chapel located at 2955 Minton Road, Melbourne, FL, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her memory be made to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
