Obituary of Diana Lynn Lyle

Diana Lynn McPeak Lyle passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 following a sudden illness. The daughter of John Randall McPeak and Lula Francis Eanes McPeak, Diana was born in Ft. Meade, MD but considered Waynesville, NC to her her home town. She moved to Florida in 1985 and was a resident of Palm Shores. Diana was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Eau Gallie, where she taught Sunday School, wrote wonderful puppet plays, and frequently directed the church drama ministry. Diana is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jack B. Lyle also of Palm Shores; her mother, Lula of Rockledge; her daughter, Virginia of Palm Bay; and her son, Bryan of Palm Shores. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the UMCOR, United Methodist Committee on Relief, C/O Diana Lyle, Health & Welfare Ministry, 475 Riverside Dr., Rm. 330, New York, NY 10115. www.uncore.org. A viewing will be held at Beach Funeral Home on Wickham Rd., in Melbourne on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 21st, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Eau Gallie.
