Obituary of Lelia C. Benton

Lelia Ceballos Benton March 2, 1925 - May 19, 2010 Resident of Satellite Beach, Florida Lelia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in Naples, Florida after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Her family takes comfort knowing she was a believer of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Lelia was born in Manabi, Ecuador to Dr. Jose Lopez and Justina Ceballos. She was married to Howard E. Benton, late husband and late life partner Richard Barton. She will forever be remembered by her many family members including sisters Elsa, Gloria, Isabel and daughter Kitty Benton,The Griggs Family, the Vera Family, her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Lelia loved being with her family, playing bridge and was blessed to have many friends and neighbors she loved in Satellite Beach. Lelia touched the lives of many people with her sense of humor, her spunk and sassiness she was known for. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at 2pm at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbor Beach, FL. Burial will take place in North Miami on Tuesday, May 25.
