Obituary of Anthony J. Rossi

Anthony Joseph Rossi, Tony to his friends, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 27, 2010 surrounded by his living family. Tony was born on June 14, 1931 in Rochester, NY. He joined the Air Force when he was 17 years old and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 21 years of dedicated service. Moving back to Satellite Beach, he began working at Harris and retired after 19 1/2 years as a Quality Control Engineer. Tony has always been active in serving the Lord Jesus. Prison ministries, church treasurer and fixing computers were a few of his many and varied volunteer positions through the years. His loving wife Joann Rossi and his sisters Mary Bellucci and Nellie Spotto preceded him in death. Daughter Cindy Tamblyn (her children Audra, Phillip and Sarah Tamblyn); son Steven Rossi (his wife Terri and their sons Tony and Jeremy Rossi) survive him. Siblings Paul Rossi and Jenny Sherwood and a host of nieces and nephews also survive him. He is deeply loved and missed by all including his favorite dog Gidget. A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist of Indialantic, officiated by the Pastor Steven Rossi on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
