Sam I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Nancy. She was the oldest of the Grandchildren on Retta's side of the family. I have been recalling the memories of her visits to our home in Maryland and ours to Bluefield while growing up. Nancy was such a beautiful lady and a role model as we grew up. My most sincere sympathy to you and your family. Fondly, Karen

"The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away; But the word of the Lord endures forever..." 1 Peter 1, 24, 25 Sam and family, We extend our condolences. May you be comforted at this time by believing in the resurrection, and that you will be reunited one day. Proverbs 31: "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise." Family, may you be comforted by these words. Nancy, may you rest in peace. Harry and Lois Brantley

I went thru school in Bluefield(grades 1-12) with Nancy. I lost my wife of 47 years this past summer, and I share your grief in your loss. My mother-in-law who was from Cocoa, FL & worked as a nurse in Rockledge, lived for a short while In Glenwood Park Assisted Living here in WV and we frequently talked with Nancy's mother Retta, who was also at Glenwood. My prayers & thoughts are with you.

I have spent two days thinking of Nancy, my brother Sam and the children. Nancy was such a good person, Mother, and wife. The times we were together were such fun. She was a perfect hostess. She will be in my thoughts for a a long time. It is impossible to forget loved ones. My prayers are with you all and I love you and regret that I was unable to be with you at this sad time. LOVE, Mary
