Obituary of Robert Francis Tager

Robert Francis Tager, 87, of Satellite Beach died, Thursday, December 23, 2010. He was born in New York on August 1, 1923. Robert served his country honorably during WWII in the 517th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. After 23 years of service, Robert retired as Major in the 5th Special Forces (Green Beret). After retiring Robert moved to Seattle where he worked for the Boeing Company and spent time in both Iran and Saudi Arabia. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, sons, Robert, Steve (Nicola); two grandchildren, Nicole (Tyler) and Michael. Memorial gathering will be held from 12 - 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach, with a service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL, with military honors.
