Obituary of Joyce P. Hawkes

Joyce P. Hawkes, formerly of Boca Raton died on Friday, December 31st, 2010. She was born in Rockville Centre, New York and came to Boca Raton in 1954 where she raised her family. Joyce started in banking with The First Bank and Trust of Boca Raton. She always laughed that she had five employers and never left the building, retiring with Bank of America in 1993 after 38 years. She then moved to the Melbourne area to be closer to her family. She loved dancing, crusing and she was a fabulous cook. Her home was one of the most important treasures in her life, along with her three sons. She always had such an easy way with people and you always enjoyed her quick sense of humor. She has left us with many happy memories, all ending with smiles and for that we are very blessed. Joyce is survived by her sons, David P. Molineaux (Nancy); Paul L. Molineaux (Susan); and Richard W. Hawkes; grandchildren Pelham, Aimee, Jon and Jason Molineaux; Blaine (Roger) Worak, Maureen and Stephanie Hawkes; ex-daughter-in-law, Maura Hawkes. A celebration of a life well lived will be 1 pm, Friday, January 7th, 2011 at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach. The family requests donations in her memory be made to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
