Obituary of Arthur Joseph Busch

Arthur Joseph Busch, 83, passed away February 23, 2011. He was born in Berlin, North Dakota to Ferdinand and Rosa Busch. After high school, he entered the Army and was honorably discharged before attending the University of North Dakota. Upon graduation, Arthur worked for General Electric until his retirement. Arthur spent his early years in Illinois with his wife Mary Eileen Merrinane, and raised seven children. Eileen predeceased him in 1978. He then survived his second loving wife of 19 years, Barbara Fisher, with whom he retired and moved to Florida. Arthur was again blessed with love in the final decade of his life and enjoyed the last years with his wife, Deloris. He and Deloris enjoyed golf, pool and went dancing, as well as taking time to travel together. Arthur is a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community, the Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion, and Elks Club. Arthur is survived by his wife, Deloris; daughters Ann Moody and Mary Lester; sons John Busch, Paul Busch, James Busch, and Daniel Busch; step-children Doug Rolsing, Barbara Rolsing, Janet Basey, Michael Rolsing, Randall Fisher, and Richard Fisher; his brother Vincent Busch; his sister Edith Busch; and 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Vistation will be from 4-5 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be make to the American Cancer Society or the Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation.
