Obituary of Edward N. Seelandt

Edward N. Seelandt, 43, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at home with his family by his side after a three year battle with colon cancer. He recently moved to Melbourne from Columbus, Ohio. He was a writer and graduate of Richmond-Burton High School in Richmond, graduating in 1986. Edward also graduated from the University of Minnesota and Pepperdine Law School. Survivors include his mother, Norma Seelandt of Melbourne; brothers, Michael of Morgan Hill, Calif., Karl G. Seelandt of Lompoc, Calif., Charles of Galena, Ohio; sisters, Katherine Seelandt of Rochester, Minn., Karla Seelandt of Melbourne; Rise' Jones of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; three nieces; and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Karl Seelandt and his sister, Laura Seelandt.
