Obituary of Arlene Caron-Coulter

Born 1-19-1933 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Went home to be with Jesus 8-7-11 Parents: David and Eva Huish Survived by: Stepdaughter, Nancy Caron and grandsons John and Robert Mason Sister, Myra Germilhac (Andre) Beloved nephew and caregiver David Miller, nephew Dale Miller and nieces Lynda Wallace and Lori Kell. And her large extended Resurrection Ranch family. Arlene was born in Windsor, Ontario where she lived until her marriage to Lee Caron in 1956. Lee was an entertainer and they toured the U.S. before settling in Cocoa Beach, Florida where they opened Lee Caron's Carnival Club. Lee served as Mayor of Cocoa Beach and Arlene as "First Lady" during the early days of the Space Program. In 1984, Arlene dedicated her life to Jesus and to helping others. Taking over an abandoned motel site on Old Dixie Highway in Melbourne, she established Resurrection Ranch, a Christ-centered family restoration ministry. For over 20 years, she and her volunteer staff served the homeless and broken and their families, providing food, shelter and safety, along with spiritual counseling, job and life skill training. "Pastor Arlene" will long be remembered by the many former residents she helped on the road to a new and better life. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 20 at the People of Destiny Church (formerly the Tabernacle Church of Melbourne) 1619 Ferndale Avenue, Pastor Jana Hogan-Forschino presiding.
