Obituary of Vincent P. Hanlon

Vincent P. "Buddy" Hanlon, Jr., 88, of Indialantic passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Vincent and Roberta Hanlon. Buddy served our country honorably in the U.S. Army, WWII. Prior to retirement he was employed as a butcher for The A&P in NY for over 30 years, before to moving to Brevard County in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Caroline; daughter, Pia Hanlon-Olsen (Kenneth Olsen); four grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffrey, Reid and Eric. Buddy was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Francis & John. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic. Buddy will be transferred to Michael J. Higgens Funeral Home in Congers, NY for a Mass at St. Paul's & interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
