Obituary of John E. Fagan

John E. Fagan, 90, of Melbourne, FL. died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was born on September 30, 1920 in N.Y.C, N.Y to John and Kathleen Fagan. John served his country honorably in the U.S.C.G. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge, FL, U.S.C.G Combat Veterans Association, Knights of Columbus Council #5845 of Satellite Beach, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree JFK 1593, Melbourne Space Coast Pioneers and Plank Owner/Member of the Gladiators Sporting Club of Satellite Beach. John was predeceased by his son; William, grandson; Paul E. Hayduk III, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his daughters; Elizabeth J. Dobbs and Tara Fagan, brother; Richard Fagan, sister; Barbara Schriefer, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30am on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, FL. Graveside service will immediately follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge. Donations may be made in John's name to the Knights of Columbus.
