Obituary of Glen A. Bobersky

Glen Alan Bobersky, 61, of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday May 22, 2021. He was born to William and June Bobersky in San Diego, California July 7, 1959. Glen grew up across Florida including Jacksonville, Orlando, Satellite Beach, and Melbourne .

 

An avid outdoorsman and ocean enthusiast, Glen was into everything from camping, hunting, off-roading, dirt biking, motorcycling, surfing, boating, clamming, crabbing, shrimping, and diving, as well as an especially talented water skier and fisherman.

 

He enlisted into the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate shortly after graduating high school and made it to the rank of Second-Class Petty Officer after which his contract of four years ended with an honorable discharge. Glen eventually started working for the United States Postal Service where he remained for most of his life until he retired.

 

He is survived by his father William Bobersky, his five siblings; Stephanie Moses, Scott Bobersky, Lisa Bobersky, Jeff Bobersky, and Andrea Bobersky Eldridge, his children Tiffany Cole, Danielle Gutierrez, Drew Bobersky, and granddaughter Arianna Gutierrez, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

 

Services will be held June 10, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Beach funeral home in Indian harbor beach and Burial will be held June 11, 2021, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
