Obituary of Dewey Moore, Jr.

Dewey Moore Jr., 56, passed away on August 17, 2021, at Holmes Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with Covid-19. 

 

He was born in Columbus Ohio on February 23, 1965, moving to Brevard County Florida in 1984. He worked in the construction field as a successful Framing Contractor and owner of Moore Builders Inc. He would always point out the houses he had built, and he built a lot of houses. Anyone riding with him was sure to hear all the details, sometime more than once. He loved spending time with family, soaking up the Melbourne beach sunshine, and deep sea fishing. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents Victoria Arnold, and Dewey Moore Sr.

 

He is survived by his four children, Dewey Moore III, Benjamin Moore, Mariah Moore, and Victoria Moore: grandchildren Markis Holder Jr., La’miah Navalta, and grandson due in December. Also, his sisters Lori Roggenkamp (Billy), Kimberly Moore, Lisa Moore, and Angela Moore; brothers Jimmy Webb and Grant Moore. And his loving Fiancé Stacy Hagan.

 

Services will be held at a later date.

 

Followed by burial at Memorial Gardens in Rockledge located at 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955. In honoring the family’s request face masks are required.
