Obituary of Mirisini Sirounis

Mirsini Sirounis, 88, of Indialantic, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 with her family by her side.  Mirsini was born July 30, 1933 in Athens, Greece.  She immigrated from Greece with her family in 1960. 

Mirsini spent many years next to her late husband of 61 years, John, and their two sons helping and contributing to the success of numerous business ventures that the family owned and operated. 

Mirsini was a devoted Greek Orthodox Christian and one of the founding members of St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, Florida. She was an active member of St Katherine Greek Orthodox Church family in Melbourne since 2001. Mirsini’s devotion and unconditional love to her church and family were immeasurable.  Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. 

Mirsini is survived by her sons, Bob Sirounis and his wife India, Mike Sirounis and his wife Michelle, grandchildren John Robert, Katrina, Marie, Katie, John Michael, Jason and 9 Great Grandchildren. 

Viewing and Funeral Services will be at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, Melbourne on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 10am.  Burial will immediately follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Philoptochos Society of Saint Katherine, Melbourne Florida
