Obituary of John Edward Ferrigno

Dr. John E. Ferrigno began life well by being born into a loving family on May 3^rd, 1945. He returned to them on April 21^st 2022.

Having completed his PhD at FSU, he spent many years in education and was a lifelong scholar. His proudest service however, was as a case manager and counselor to the very ill at a mental health center in north Florida.

He also had an adventurous side expressed as rafting white water, playing rugby at FSU, kayaking the rivers near Tallahassee, maintaining his Marine Corps marksmanship, and skydiving. He had a keen wit and could always brighten any occasion.

He is loved by his friends and is survived by his sister, Leslie Marlar, his nephew, Gary Marlar and his family, Aunts Helene and Edna, and his dear friend, Kathy Louvaris and her family.
