Obituary of Azrael David Stivers

Azrael David Stivers transitioned peacefully at home Monday November 14th. He is survived by his parents: Dawn Stivers, Jim and Jacie Stivers; his three children Kai, Trinity, and Reef Stivers; his sister Ashlee Morgan (Ray) and extended family throughout the country.

Azrael was a sensitive, creative, gentle spirit who loved his family and friends. His soul and his children’s souls are forever tied.

Azrael loved all things outdoors. His happy place was Sebastian Inlet where he spent hours fishing from his canoe, surfing, and camping. He was a world traveler who had many adventures. Gardening his tropical plumerias added to the beauty of the world. As a licensed general contractor, Azrael’s construction career ranged from home remodeling to large commercial projects.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 25th at Sebastian Inlet 11:00 – 3:00. All are welcome. A buffet lunch will be served upstairs at Surfside Grill from 11:00 – 1:00. Family and friends will gather for beach time and fishing so bring your poles. At Az’s request, his family will have a private ‘Viking style’ burial at sea on a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Space Coast Surfrider Foundation at spacecoast.surfrider.org
