To John, Denise and extended family, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure that most of the extended Warner family probably does not know who I am. Thomas was my uncle, my dad's half-brother (George Evans). As a kid, we never saw Uncle Thomas and the family very often because of Thomas' military career. I was always intrigued and fascinated by his life abroad! After Uncle Thomas retired, he would visit his mother (Granny) here in Virginia more often and visit with us as well and it was really nice to get to know him better. After Granny passed away, Uncle Thomas would still make a point to stop in for a visit when he was passing through. We would all get together for dinner and catch up on all the family news! I remember a few Christmases that we were able to spend together as well and those are memories that I will cherish! Uncle Thomas spoke of you all often and it was obvious that he loved you all very much. He was a kind, generous and loving man and will be missed. Sending hugs and prayers to you all!
