Obituary of Sina Lou Miller

Sina “Si” Lou (nee Vanover) Miller was a caring mother and grandmother, who led a long career as nurse, first in the Air Force and then as a civilian, retiring from USAF Hospital, Patrick Air Force Base in 1993.  As a highly skilled clinical nurse, she worked the emergency room, labor and delivery, and the operating room.   She even delivered her nephew, David Vanover.  Born in Eucha, Ok, 16 September, 1933 as Sina Lou Vanover, deceased 13 February 2023.

She was born to Lewis and Sina (nee Price) Vanover. After graduating from high school, Si chased her dreams to serve in the Air Force where she met her husband, Lt. Colonel Noel Carroll Miller. Together, they had 2 children: Karol and Mike. 

Si loved spending time with her friends playing Bridge and participated in several local Bridge groups.  She adored her grandchildren: Matt Miller, Jake Miller, Kris Wilkerson, and Patrick Wilkerson, and her many great grandchildren.  She frequently attended their baseball, soccer, and football games, cheering from the stands. 

An interment service is scheduled at 2:00 on March 7^th at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
