Obituary of Anita Preston

Anita Rukiye Preston went peacefully, at home, to be with the Lord on June 29th, 2023, in Satellite Beach at the age of 75.

Born in Izmir, Turkey, Anita's amazing  life journey brought her to Satellite Beach, where she became an integral part of the  community. She married the love of her life, the late William Edward Preston and they had three loving daughters, Maliaka, Gina, and Raihan.

Her profound love for God served as a guiding light, providing her with strength, solace, and unwavering faith. Anita's love of God influenced every aspect of her life, inspiring her to live with grace and humility.

Anita embodied the true essence of living a life as God intended, spreading kindness, compassion, and goodwill wherever she went.

Anita's most cherished role in life was that of a mother and grandmother. She held an unbreakable bond with her three daughters, nurturing them with unconditional love, guidance, and  support. Anita's heart overflowed with love as she welcomed the arrival of her six beloved grandchildren, Ciara, Noah, Reign, Seth, Raiden, and Peyton. She took immense pride in their accomplishments and delighted in witnessing the unique  individuals they were becoming.

Anita's zest for life was unmatched, and her vibrant spirit touched the hearts of all those fortunate enough to know her. Anita was a true renaissance woman, embodying creativity and wisdom in every aspect of her life. She expressed herself through her paintings and her poetry.  Her poetic words carried depth and emotion, resonating with those who had the privilege of reading them.

Anita's green thumb was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and culinary skills were legendary. Her passion for dance and music brought joy into her life, and her infectious spirit ignited happiness in those around her.

She radiated warmth and hospitality, always welcoming friends and strangers alike into her home, creating an atmosphere of love and acceptance. Always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need.

In addition to her daughters and grandchildren, Anita leaves behind her loving sister, Fatos, those she looked to has her sons, Pat, Lance, Jason,  Justin, and her Godson Rory,  a host of devoted nephews, nieces, cherished cousins, relatives, and friends.

Anita's kindness, empathy, and deep love touched the lives of many, and she will sorely be missed. She will forever remain a shining example of what it means to love unconditionally, forgive, serve, and show compassion.

We love you Annecigim,

You are finally at peace, Mom. Rest in Heaven in the arms of God and Daddy.
