Obituary of Kathleen Megown

In loving memory of Kathleen “Nora” Megown, the family is saddened to announce she passed peacefully on July 17^th, 2023 and is reunited with her beloved husband George Megown in heaven.  Kathleen was born on January 21, 1940, in New York City, New York.  She was married for 59 years to the love of her life George Megown, from Beaver Falls, PA.  Together they had two sons and two daughters.  She was a dedicated mother/wife, passionate for the arts, shopping and spending time with her family.  She was an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for over 20 years where she served as a Eucharist Minister and always volunteered to help in her community.  Kathleen is survived by sons Mike and Jeffrey Megown, daughter Michelle Raich; grandchildren, Rachel Harrison, Daniel Megown, Emma, Julia and Grace Raich, Zoey Megown and deceased husband George Megown and daughter Kaye Dala and granddaughter Quinn Dala.  A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.  Services will be held August 4^th at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N HWY A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903. 

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and the Mass will start at 1:00 PM.  Celebration of Life to follow at the Palm Lakes Estates Club House at 1000 Fell Rd, West Melbourne, FL 32904
