Obituary of Elizabeth Bootsie Vonderlieth

Elizabeth "Bootsie" Vonderlieth passed away on August 14th in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida at the age of 85. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Bootsie was a devoted Catholic who had many friends and was well- loved. She enjoyed reading, channel surfing, watching the weather, walking, swimming, and the Florida lifestyle in Martesia for the past 25 years (aka Martesia madams).

Her husband Raymond was her soulmate for 67 years. He fell in love with her at first sight. Boots needed some persuading, but he successfully wooed her!

As a mother, Bootsie was always there for her children, Veronica, Ray, Rich, and Kimberly. She was always ready with her famous marshmallow cake for our birthdays which will be forever missed by all (including Tellys).

As a grandmother, Bootsie loved her 3 grandchildren: Nicole, Kaitlyn, and Jack. Although they lived on Long Island and she couldn't see them often, she always remembered them, sending love, birthday cards and Christmas presents every year.

As a sister, Bootie grew up in Great Neck surrounded by cousins and 3 brothers. She is predeceased by her brother Deacon Joe and leaves behind her 2 other brothers Ronnie and Gary along with numerous nieces and nephews

She was loved by all and will be terribly missed. If you would like to pay your respects, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in honor of Bootsie on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N. Highway A1A, Indialantic, Florida. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
