Stephen H. Gould, (62), of Melbourne Beach, Florida, passed away on August 19th, 2023.

Stephen or Steve as he preferred, was born on 1/21/1961, at the US Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Steve spent a good portion of his childhood moving around not only the United States but also the world (to include Japan) due to his family’s military careers. Ultimately, his mother would settle down in Bradenton, Florida where Steve would reside until he attended the University of Central Florida. After graduating, Steve would make the move to Melbourne Beach where he worked for several tech/government contracted companies. In Steve’s free time, he would enjoy not only being the life of any party he attended but also playing several different sports to include surfing, golf, beach volleyball, and flag football with the Old Dogs. He would go on to become a stepfather to his stepson Jordan Sorchevich whom he helped raise from the age of 6 years old. He loved coaching little league but also coaching his son on life’s many lessons. To say Steve kept busy is an understatement. He would become a business owner to several companies, purchase the Gould Business Center in downtown Eau Gallie, become a Free Mason and Shriner, and assist with the growth and success of the Eau Gallie Art District (EGAD). Steve loved to problem solve and was always willing to jump in and help those that asked for assistance.

Steve is survived by his stepson Jordan, daughter in law Carla and grandson Ezekial, his loving partner Stacey Horan, step sister Katherine, stepmother Susanna, his niece and nephew Evelyn and Andrew. He is also survived his faithful dog Maggie. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Penny and Charles as well as his dear Grandfather Ray Rabanes.
