Obituary of Deborah Sue Scheuren

Sadly, Deborah "Debbie" Sue Scheuren, 66 years old, passed away October 19th. She is survived by her 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Our mother lived her life on her terms but surrounded herself with family, whom she cherished above all. She had a long career working for the government and Homeland Security which allowed her to retire early and enjoy living her life.  Although she retired, she chose to pursue real estate to keep herself busy.

She enjoyed many activities but had a true love for gardening, bowling, and mahjong.  She also really enjoyed traveling. Recently, she has had the opportunity to spend some time traveling through Europe with her bestie, Charleen, and to visit her childhood home in Salisbury, England.  Her last adventure took her to Alaska and all the Hawaiian Islands. Finally, completing all 50 states!

Above all, our mother loved her family. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her "girls" or her grandchildren. She was always the first phone call when something exciting was happening or even something heartbreaking. She was there every time you needed her and even the times you didn't. She taught us so many things but most of all how to love, live, to forgive quickly and to never go to bed angry.

Our mother was one of the kindest people and was always making friends everywhere she went. She believed that love and kindness above all else could save the world.

Her love is her legacy. A mother's love. She loved unconditionally, just as her mother loved her. We will continue to honor her by passing on her love every day onto her grandchildren and remembering there was nothing she wouldnt give for her children. She will live on everyday through the love she shared and the memories we hold.  Although we can’t see her every day, she will never be forgotten because we know she will always be walking alongside us and will forever remain in our hearts.

Services will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens on November 3rd at 3pm. A celebration of her life will be held immediately following the services at 3455 Fort Sumter St. Melbourne, FL 32934.
