Obituary of Geraldine Petrovic

Geraldine "Geri" Petrovic, 77, passed away on December 13, 2023, in Satellite Beach, Florida. She was born on September 1, 1946, in  Cleveland, Ohio, to Joseph and Agnes Ruth (Wilson) Somrak.

Geri was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Petrovic; daughters, Denise Petrovic, Michelle Petrovic, and Stacey Petrovic; granddaughter, Gianna Petrovic-Ogden and grandson, Santino Arnoux; sisters, Linda Kelly, Veronica Wolanski, Patricia Armold, and sister-in-law, Janice Casteel.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Somrak; and sister, Katherine Hutchins. 

Geri was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, dedicating herself to nurturing and raising her family. Known for her kind and caring nature, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike. Geri would be the first to volunteer whenever there was a need. In her free time, she volunteered at the local library and later became a library assistant at the Satellite Beach Public Library. Even in her retirement, Geri continued to volunteer, always eager to give back to her community. 

Memorial services to celebrate Geri's life will be held in early January. The arrangements are being handled by her family and will be held at her residence in Satellite Beach, Florida. 

Geraldine "Geri" Petrovic will be remembered for her selflessness, love for her family, and dedication to helping others. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
