Obituary of Susan Masiello

Susan Adeline Masiello, 77, passed away on January 9 2024, in Melbourne Florida, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Rochester NY, June 23, 1946 to James and Josephine Masiello. Susan was the proud mother of 3 children, Angel (Herb), Michael (Lisa), Christine (Justin), 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Susan was a lifelong servant of Jesus Christ, and that showed in how she loved her community, her family, and the Church. She loved to travel, read about history, and traditional values. Susan was an amazing cook and loved to gather around the table with family for conversations and laughter. Susan was a stay-at-home mom to her three children until they were grown. She then spent ten years in Washington DC serving the National Prayer Breakfast. Susan was a student of the Lay Ecclesial Ministry course for three years and after being commissioned by the Bishop in 2013, she taught Catholic apologetics courses at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

Susan will be remembered as a giver, giving of her time, talent, and treasure to those around her who had need. Her heart ever towards the Lord, and in His arms she is truly at rest.

The service will be Tuesday January 16^th 10:30am at the Holy Name on Jesus Catholic Church on 3050 N Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903. Donations of flowers are being handled by Beach Funeral Home – 1689 S Patrick Dr., Indian Harbor Bch, FL 32937 (W) 321-777-4640
