Lilly and I feel so fortunate to have shared many years of friendship with Robert, Tina, their children and the extended Carestia and Pape families. We will always cherish the many wonderful times we had together. We met Robert when he was young, saw him grow into a man, become a devoted husband and father, and try to become a fisherman :-). I know Robert is looking down and laughing at that one, his sense of humor was ever present.
Our thoughts are with family today. Rest in peace Robert, we will cherish the memories of the times we spent together.

My memories of Robert have always been ones that make me smile or sometimes even giggle. When I met Robert Carestia he was the extremely frustrating little brother of my very best friend. He was in 7th grade, Cheryl and I were big 8th graders. Robert did what all little bothers do to their older sisters and their friends. He aggravated, teased, played jokes--anything to get a laugh or sideways glance. Over the years of my youth I remember laughing until it hurt with Robert, Cheryl and sometime even his parents about something crazy or outrageous he cooked up just to "see what would happen".
Then adulthood came for all of us. I've been lucky over the years to cross paths with Robert and Tina and their beautiful family and witness Robert's remarkable legacy in Brandon, Justin and Alyssa. He is inexplicably gone too soon but forever apart of everyone he touched.
May God comfort your hearts, uplift your spirits and carry you all through this time of grief to a place of peace.
With all my love and hugs all around.

My heart is like a puzzle, when I put it all together there is a piece missing. I’m trying to find the last piece then someday I will be able to complete my puzzle and be at peace with myself.
We love you Robert so very much. You are my baby and always will be. We want you to know We are trying to be strong but it hurts so bad. GOD was so good to us he left us have you for one day which we will always hold close to our heart. As we left each other after dinner at the Pacific Rim , I gave you a big hug, kissed you and said I love you see you tomorrow but tomorrow never came, GOD took you home to be with him.
We LOVE YOU MOM and DAD RIP

Robert, during the time you worked for me, and then when the tables were turned and I worked for you, I valued your work ethic and expertise. You knew just what needed to be done and who to do it. You were more than a co-worker, you were a friend. While you will surely be missed by all who knew you, your memory (and your contribution to our Halloween display!) will live on.

Ralph, Nancy, Cheryl, Tina, Brandon, Justin, and Alyssa, we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. We met Robert at the Tide's club and never knew how much he would have touched our family. He was very happy, funny, and full of love. He would always play jokes on his sister. He was always so loving to his parents and wife. He will not be forgotten, we will see you again and pick up where we left off. Your presence will be dearly missed. May God put his arms around Ralph, Nancy, Cheryl, Tina, Brandon, Justin, and Alyssa during this sad time and give them strength. Love always, Thomas, Christal, Grant, Adam, Mirandah, and David Boyd Gozzo .

My dear cousin, Rocco, may you rest in peace, though we know you are searching for the next adventure in heaven! To Tina, Uncle Ralph, Aunt Nancy and the entire immediate family our hearts are breaking endlessly over this loss of our loved one. May we continue to go back to photographic memories and remember all the many fun times we had with Robert. Mark just mentioned the other day the contest of Eagle sightings you have with one another...you being RIGHT THERE Robert! May God's blessings be upon us all as we grieve during this difficult time. We love you all!!
