Obituary of Leigh Jay Mann

Leigh Mann has passed away on February 9, 2024. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Leigh leaves her husband, Tary Mann; and her children, Jeffrey Mann and Gregory Mann. 

Leigh was a loving wife and mother, living in Satellite Beach.  She was an amazing cook, and took pride in the meals she made for her family.  She was a volunteer who actively assisted her children in school through their many activities. She was involved with BCC Lab School for both kids when they were in pre-school. At Surfside Elementary she was a homeroom mom and at Satellite High she was heavily involved in the music and marching band programs for son Jeff and also supported the football program for son Greg. She remained optimistic to the end. 

Leigh was born in 1957 in Corinth, MS. She moved from Las Cruces, NM to Rockledge with her family in 1959. She graduated from Rockledge High School and Brevard Community College at the same time in 1975. She was on the swim team while at Rockledge HS and the fencing team while at BCC. She attended the University of Florida where she received a BA in finance.

She loved to travel and we had gone on multiple cruises as well as trips to visit her brother Fred and family in Germany and sister Elizabeth and family in Georgia. She also enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch and Sodoku as well as being an expert cook.

Leigh is survived by her husband Tary Mann of Satellite Beach, son Jeff Mann of Deltona Fl., son Greg Mann of Tampa Fl., brother Fred Jay of Germany, and sister Elizabeth Still of North Carolina and their families. Also brother in-law Tony Mann and sister in-law Connie Mann and their family. She was preceded in death by her parents Rick and June Jay as well as her stepmother Pat Jay.
