Jack Vernezze passed away on April 7, 2024, in Satellite Beach, FL, at the age of 88. He was born on January 16, 1936, in Kenosha, WI, to his loving parents Frances and John.

 

Jack was a dedicated Army veteran who served his country with honor and pride. After his military service, he pursued a career as a building inspector for Indian Harbor Beach, where he showcased his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to his community.

 

Beyond his professional life, Jack was deeply involved in his community and church, where he was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. He was a cherished member of the Eau Gallie First Baptist Church, where he found solace and purpose in his spiritual journey.

 

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife Alice and his brother Dale. Despite the profound loss he experienced, Jack found solace in the loving memories they shared together. He is survived by his niece Renee Madigan (Ryan) and nephew Scott Vernezze (Natalia), 4 great-nieces and nephews (Alexis, Paige, Claire & Emmanuel) who will forever cherish the moments spent with their dear uncle.

 

A man of strong character and unwavering commitment to his family and community, Jack will be remembered for his warm smile, genuine compassion, and steadfast dedication to those he held dear. His legacy of service and love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

 

The funeral service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at the Eau Gallie First Baptist Church on West Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne, FL, on April 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Friends, family, and members of the community are invited to pay their respects and honor the remarkable life of Jack Vernezze. Rest in peace, dear Jack, your spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved you.
