Obituary of Marion Ealy O'Hara

Marion Ealy O'Hara, passed away late Friday evening, December 17, 2010 at age 86 in Melbourne, FL. Marion O'Hara was a resident of Satellite Beach, FL for almost 45 years. She was born Marion Isabel Ealy in Utica, NY to Thomas and Helen Ealy, the third of six children. The family moved to Syracuse, NY in 1936. Marion graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a degree in Business. She married George W. O'Hara on Feb 7, 1948 and moved to Skaneateles, NY. She gave birth and raised 10 children, surviving are 5 sons; Mark of Charlottesville, VA, Dana of Lothian, MD, Stephen of Melbourne, FL, Luke of St. Petersburg, FL, William of Titusville, FL and 4 daughters, Marie Apsey of Melbourne, FL, Sarah O'Hara of Syracuse, NY; Emily Collins of Indialantic, FL and Helen Erdman of Bear Creek, PA; also surviving are a brother, Robert Ealy of Rochester, NY and three sisters; Jan Halloran of Laurel, MD; Ann Louise Lawrence of Buffalo, NY; and Eleanor A. Ealy of Syracuse, NY. She had 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many friends and family. Viewing hours will be, December 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937. Funeral service will be held, Thursday, December 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, FL.
