Diane was made of a cloth rarely found. Threads of silk and gold woven delicately into a personification of grace and modesty are emblematic of this beautiful woman. I hope I told her enough what she meant to me. I think she knew because she often understood things without any explanation. Diane was intuitive and loyal. Even though she was reserved in some ways, we found ourselves immersed in deep sharing almost right away. Those times were often interspersed with hilarious laughter and fun! (with Dawn too!) I will always remember my dearest "bosom buddy" with great love and admiration as her friendship was an enormous gift. I am sending heartfelt hopes for healing to Rich, Mark, Michael and Lisa and all of the family and friends who are feeling the loss of my lovely friend.

She was such a kind and gentle person. I lost my wife years ago and understands how painful and difficult loss can be.

I was honored to be a bridesmaid at your wedding! Although I didn’t see my cousin Diane very often, she had a special place in my heart. I want you to know that I am with you in thought and wish you comfort and peace.

Good bye big sister:
One of my most endearing memories was when I was in high school and I made my first date to a CYO dance in Rockland MA. Of course there was an ice storm and terrible weather. You insisted that I would go on that date. So despite the storm, you drove us both ways (Brockton to Rockland and back) very nearly having several skidding accidents! The date was a bust for many reasons, only 2 other couples showed up, but that night I learned how much you, my big sister, loved me and looked out for me. That was the best part of the evening
This was one of many examples along with lots of sisterly advice about life etc.
Your loving brother
Charles

Aunt Diane - you were a mother to me. I will always look up to your kindness, beauty, grace and love. My children look to you as a grandmother- one who helped them learn to walk, always had croissants, and endless hugs, kisses and love. Distance never changed that love and this new distance will not change it either. I will go to France one day and think of you. I will speak, eat , and drink French with you next to me in spirit . I love you! Always in my heart and mind!
