Obituary of Dr. William John Eells

William John Eells, 81, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2022.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Louis J. and Ella Louderback Eells.  He moved to Brevard County in 1971.  He received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee in 1968.  He served in the US Air Force Dental Corps, and upon honorable discharge, he practiced dentistry for 30 years in Indialantic.  Prior to that he was a pharmacist, having graduated from the University of Florida in 1965.  He was honored to have been chosen to be a Florida State Dental Examiner.  After retiring, he was an avid deep sea fisherman, and enjoyed snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis, and traveling.  He was a longtime member of EGYC.  He is survived by his son, James Eells of Indian Harbour Beach; daughters, Denise Cox of Indialantic; Teresa Lord of Palm Bay; and seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Ellen Gretchen Granberg Eells; and brother Dr. Louis D.
